Products I Love
I’m often asked for checklists or recommendations at different stages of the perinatal journey. These are my favorite products for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and baby. Anything I recommend I have either used with my two babes (and loved) or seen used in my work time and time again. Products may include affiliate links where I make a small commission following a purchase (at no additional cost to you). This can be used as a checklist as you prepare for baby.

Pregnancy
Postpartum Recovery
Postpartum underwear - If you are giving birth in a hospital, you don’t need to purchase more of these. The hospital will provide what you need.
Breastfeeding
Nursing pads (washable)
Baby Gear
Sleep
Pack n Play - We love how easy this is to set up. It’s great to travel with or use day-to-day in place of a crib/bassinet or a (small) play pen.
Slumberpod - This has been so essential for travel (especially when sharing a room with babe) or when sleeping in a new place.
Black out shades - Helpful if you want to see if blackout shades will help with sleep (or travel) before investing big bucks in a more permanent solution.
On the Go
Soft/newborn carrier - I love this because it’s a cheater version (with clips) to the soft wraps. It also has the option for baby to face front once they are old enough, and is great/squishy enough for travel.
Baby carrier - This is so versatile as baby can face in or out, and can even be carried on your back. It also has great support if back/neck issues for the grown-up are a concern.
Travel stroller - For babes 6+ months.
Diapering
Changing pad - Highly recommend getting a changing pad that you can wipe down vs. a cloth one where you have to do more laundry if there’s a mess. There are often messes in this department.
Bathing
Care kit (nail clipper, snot sucker, head scrubber, etc.)
Feeding
High chair - I love this one because it grows with your babe. Being comfortable helps them stay at the table longer. Has been worth the investment (two times over!) for our family.
Bottles - Your babe may pick the bottle that works best for them, and you might have to try a few different ones. But, this is a great one to try first.
Misc
Clothes: make it easy. Zippers and magnets are way easier to deal with than buttons and snaps! Consider seasons.
Blankets: people often gift these and I find you often don’t need as many as you think.
